FASHION ID | NEW YEARS WISHLIST | WHAT TO WEAR DURING THIS YEARS HOLIDAY SEASON
06:19
Christmas, Christmas, Christmas! I have to admit that it is somewhat of a love-hate relationship between this holiday and me. Yes, I love the overall mood in the city and I fairly enjoy all of the benefits but as Christmas Eve comes closer it gets really hard to find -not only nice presents for the beloved ones -> but also an outfit for the 24th. I am actually more of a relaxed person when it comes to holiday season. Haha, today I will try to show you guys some ways to survive this years Christmas/New Years in the best way possible: cosy but still stylish.
I have to confess that I am really bad at finding presents. I am the kind of person that buys all of her present (literary) one day before the feast. And if this would’t be bad enough I am pretty sick this year as well which forces me to stay at home for the longest part of the day. Haha, but since my optimism is pretty un-destroyable I decided to do most of my Christmas shopping online. You guys should check out FashionID where I found most of the items below! Moreover, enjoy the last moments before Christmas tomorrow. Best wishes, Meroda
Look 1 : Relaxed
Its not always necessary to decide on a pompous dress or high heels during holiday season! Christmas/New Years can get so stressful that some of you might decide to choose a "more relaxed” outfit this year. Sequins are always a easy way to posh up an outfit but it is not necessary to choose a garment that is fully covered in it. How about a nice shirt, some comfortable chelsea boots/flats and maybe a nice beanie to survive the cold days? Some might decide to add some highlights to the outfit by choosing accessories (with sequins?)
Look 2 : Rock chic
And for those ones of you who want to keep the pompousness in their outfit there is an easy and quick way as well. You might compromise your evening dress by adding some “relaxed” accessories/garments. Maybe a leather jacket or some rather edgy shoes? This will help to make the outfit appear less splendid without taking away all of its glamour.
